Legal Secretary - Long Island
Mid-size law firm is seeking a litigation legal administrative assistant for their Long Island office.
Law firm experience with several years of legal secretarial experience preferred. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys with the production of legal documents and providing general secretarial support to multiple attorneys including:
Type from draft or transcribe a variety of correspondence, memoranda and legal forms such as billing letters, retainers, briefs and contracts, etc. Coordinate travel arrangements. Input attorney time records. Coordinate meetings and appointments for attorneys. Process check requests and expense reimbursements and providing back-up support and coverage to administrative assistants and attorneys in the practice areas of commercial and business litigation, foreclosure litigation and financial restructuring.
Must have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and strong typing speed.
