Leading law firm in Midtown NYC is seeking Knowledge Resources Manager. Ideal candidate will be a U.S. Barred Attorney with 3+ years of experience as a Disputes Attorney.   This is an ideal position for a lawyer wishing to move away from a fee-earning role.  This Manager’s main responsibilities will be to assist Partners in organizing and delivering the Group’s technical legal training and deliver selected knowledge training.  Prior experience in designing and delivering training required
•    Excellent research and drafting skills
•    Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, ideally experience of iManage/document management systems

The Manager may also help to monitor developments in the legal and business environment in order to keep both the Group and its Clients up to date; and help to create, develop and manage the Group’s collection of know-how and precedents.

Reporting to a Partner designated by Americas Disputes Regional Section Head and Director of Professional Support, the Knowledge Resources Manager will be responsible for :

•    Assist Partners in the Group in organizing, updating and delivering technical training for the Group especially facilitating participation by the lawyers in training events in particular in relation to:   the technical training for junior associates which consists of certain modules and training sessions already developed by the Group; and
new trainings and presentations on relevant developments in the law;
•    Monitor developments in the legal and business environment and keep the Group updated;
•    Further develop, build and manage the knowledge-related aspects of the Group’s resources on Connect (Firm’s Intranet) and in the Knowledge Bank
