Non-profit Financial Services company in NYC is seeking an experienced Benefits Paralegal with 5+ years of Benefit's experience working in a law firm or corporation.
Job Responsibilities include:
Retirement Plans and Related Compliance:
Maintain a detailed understanding of the company's retirement plans. Understanding the actuarial impact of current plan design. Maintain current knowledge on legislative matters that could affect plans and/or defined contribution plans. Recommend proposed plan changes based on legislation, IRS rules, member's needs, etc. Review new material or revisions to existing material.
Contract Management: Review legal documents and assist in development of a procurement process and contract administration. Vendor compliance.
Coordinate disability and health insurance administration and educate and train employees on compliance related matters. Edit quarterly legal and compliance newsletter. Process beneficiary forms.
Salary up to 100k depending on experience.
